Artists comment: Taken with a Contax 645 AF medium format camera with 35 mm f4.5 lens and using Fuji Velvia 50 film, this is a beautiful landscape taken at Jugaigo in 2008. Jujaigo is in Sichuan and is accessible by air from Chengdu, the landing strip sits on top of a high mountain plateau and is a little perilous, sometimes the visibility is so bad that the plane has to abort its trip, heading back to Chengdu. \r\n\r\nThe Buddhist temple has been sited under ideal Feng Shui conditions, set in amongst mountains and with a magical lake colored by mineral deposits.\r\n\r\nThis is part of a World Heritage site and is very popular, particularly with Chinese folk.
